Elijah Benzon comes from a background in healthcare, biology, psychology, and art—a mix that taught him how to ask thoughtful questions, see patterns, and make sense of complexity.

His early experiences in healthcare, especially during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, sparked a lasting interest in bridging the gap between experts and everyday people. Most recently, he led Groundswell, a grant-funded design system developed with UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital to support oncology staff well-being.

He holds a master’s degree in Interaction Design from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor's degree in Biology and Psychology from the University of Miami.

His love for music and board and video games drew him into world-building, where sound, story, and visuals intertwine to create immersive experiences. He brings that same lens to his work, treating each project as its own world.
