REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH DECISION SUPPORT TOOLS
Refining medical illustrations and animations for university-led reproductive health videos
We contributed to illustration refinement and animation for a set of educational videos developed for a university gender health research group.
Working within an established illustration style, we focused on refining the visuals to represent key ideas related to anatomy and the vasectomy procedure. We prioritized a set of illustrations that function cohesively as a unified set.

As the vasectomy decision-support tool is currently undergoing testing, I’m unable to share a live link at this time, but I look forward to its release and seeing it in use soon.
We also contributed to the animation for these educational videos. The goal was to address common misconceptions by accurately showing what happens after the procedure, such as changes related to ejaculation and sperm movement.
We created smaller studies focused on movement, timing, and alignment between animation, narration, and captions.
We explored static versus actively moving sperm.
We explored fluid movement speed through the ducts.
VISION CORRECTION RESEARCH
Supporting design research exploring the experiences of contact lens wearers
We supported a design research project in the vision correction space, exploring the experiences of contact lens wearers.

Our role involved reviewing and compiling qualitative clinical video data. We edited raw recordings into consolidated patient videos by removing non-relevant segments such as setup and off-topic discussion, improving usability for research synthesis and review.

We also identified, tagged, and timestamped key behavioral moments such as lens insertion, removal, and reported discomfort to support structured analysis and study tracking.
Myana
Website content development and social media marketing assets for Myana
We focused on information architecture, page layouts, and content strategy for a promotional website supporting Myana, a postpartum app for new birthgivers. We also designed templates for social media to support Myana’s outreach.

Using Figma and working from an initial structural concept, we determined exactly what content would live on each page and how it should be organized.
Looking at existing Myana materials, we wanted to highlight that the app was created by scientists but built explicitly for new moms. We used the brand's existing colors, fonts, and tone of voice to create social media posts.
We made these posts in square, horizontal, and vertical shapes across three different styles so they could be used for different types of content.
Age-Friendly Greater Pittsburgh
Improving access to community resources through thoughtful information structure
We contributed to a focused redesign effort for a portion of the Age-Friendly Greater Pittsburgh website aimed at improving how users navigate, discover, and access community resources after completion of their Picture This Campaign.

We had to integrate materials from the campaign, including voice recordings and participant testimonies, into the existing website.

We had to rethink how content was structured while leveraging existing page templates and modules to minimize development impact.
Cancer Care Pittsburgh
Early brand identity exploration and ideation for an emerging initiative
We worked on defining the foundational content system for how a cancer navigation nonprofit initiative in Pittsburgh would communicate its mission and services.
We also co-designed several logo concepts that were selected for client presentation and further refinement.

We organized a large set of materials, such as grant proposals, research documents, flyers, and early messaging drafts, into categories like mission, values, strategies, and outcomes, and used that to define a consistent way the organization should talk about its work.

During a collaborative 2–3 day sprint, we contributed to generating logo concepts, exploring multiple visual directions for the organization’s identity.
